Fan Bing-Bing is one of the most popular actresses in China, having starred in over 30 TV series and about 20 films since her graduation from Xie Jin's Star School and Shanghai Theatre Academy in the late 1990s. Highlights of Fan's film works include "Cellphone" (2003), "Twins Effect II" (2004), "A Chinese Tall Story" (2005), "A Battle of Wits" (2006), "The Matrimony" (2006), "Lost in Beijing" (2007) and "Flash Point" (2007). Her role in "The Matrimony" won her the Best Supporting Actress award in the 44th Golden Horse Awards while "Lost in Beijing" scored her the Best Actress award in the 2007 International Eurasia Film Festival. Her latest work is Derek Yee's "Shinjuku Incident" (2009).
