Zhou Yun's most notable work to date is her stunning performance as the crazy mother in Jiang Wen's "The Sun Also Rises" (2007). A graduate of the Central Academy of Dramatic Arts, Zhou's debut film role was He Ping's "Warriors of Heaven and Eath" (2003) where she had the chance to work with Jiang Wen for the first time. Other credits include TV series "My Brothers and Sisters" (2003) and "Zou Guo Xing Fu" (The Road to Happiness) (2004).
